About the position

Adapteo is the leading provider of flexible, modular, and sustainable building solutions in the Nordics, from offices and schools to housing and healthcare facilities. The company builds adaptable buildings that can be scaled up, scaled down, moved, or reused. Adapteo uses a circular business model where the lifespan of the modules is extended, resources are used efficiently, and the carbon footprint is minimized, focusing on reuse, resource efficiency, and fossil-free transport.

Adapteo is currently building a new state-of-the-art facility in Uppsala, an investment that combines workshop, warehouse, office, and showroom under one roof and will be an important part of the company's future production and growth. As a warehouse employee, you will play a key role in warehouse and logistics, responsible for keeping track of material flows, inventory levels, and incoming and outgoing deliveries. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse systems, administrative handling, and workflow optimization, while also working practically with forklift driving and material handling. A typical day starts with the team gathering to go through the day's plan together with colleagues and supervisors. During the day, you will work closely with your colleagues, learn new tasks, share ideas, and contribute to improvements in the workflow. The role is varied and developing; you continuously build your skills and take responsibility. Initially, the work will take place at Adapteo's hub in Enköping, but eventually, everything will move to the new state-of-the-art facility in Uppsala, where you will be part of an exciting growth journey.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing deliveries, check inventory levels, and follow up on material flows
• Work in warehouse systems and report discrepancies or improvement suggestions
• Pick, pack, and prepare materials for production
• Use a forklift for internal transport of materials, driving, and placement in the warehouse
• Participate in the setup and organization of the warehouse in the new facility in Uppsala
• Contribute to improvements in workflows and routines together with colleagues
• Be involved in training new employees as the team grows, together with the supervisor and hub manager

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience in warehouse work with a focus on administrative handling and systems
• Is an experienced forklift driver (forklift license A4 & B1) and comfortable with forklift operation
• Has good computer skills and experience working in inventory systems
• Is organized, structured, and solution-oriented
• Thrives in a team and is unpretentious, helping out where needed
• Has self-drive, takes responsibility, and dares to drive improvements
• Is flexible and appreciates a varied everyday life with change and development

It is a merit, but not a requirement, if you have:

• Certification 3A for lifts/mobile platforms (1 day of training can be offered)
• Experience with larger material handling
