Automation Technician for Highly Automated Logistics Center

About the Facility

Here, you will work in a modern and highly automated logistics facility with over 100,000 m² of space, equipped with the latest technology in automation. The facility handles dry, refrigerated, and frozen storage and has a clear focus on sustainability and energy efficiency.

Your Role

As an automation technician, you are a key person ensuring that the automated systems operate safely and efficiently – from startup and monitoring to troubleshooting and planned maintenance. You work closely with production in an engaged team alongside operations and maintenance colleagues.

The automation environment includes high-bay storage, conveyors, and crane systems.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on automation and ancillary equipment.
• Monitoring production flows and managing operational disruptions.
• Working in various temperature zones (dry, chilled, and frozen).
• Collaborating with operations, safety, and external suppliers to optimize availability and operational reliability.

Who We Are Looking For

This is a practical and active role where you will move in high-bay environments, on mezzanines, and in service corridors.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is not afraid of heights and feels comfortable working at height (with the right safety procedures).
• Is mechanically inclined and enjoys working with their hands.
• Has an interest in computer-controlled systems and can read HMI/SCADA and logs.
• Works in a structured manner, takes responsibility for safety, and enjoys problem-solving in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in warehouse or industrial automation (e.g., crane systems, conveyors, robotics).
• Electrical or automation technical education or equivalent experience.
• Experience working in environments with varying temperatures (chilled/frozen).
