Job Responsibilities

Do you want to work in a technical and practical role where you help ensure that machines and equipment function as they should? We are currently looking for an industrial mechanic for our client in Gothenburg.

In this role, you will work with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various types of machines and technical equipment. The work is varied and includes both planned maintenance and urgent interventions, where you need to quickly identify and solve problems.

You will be part of a team where collaboration with production and technology is an important part of everyday life.

Your responsibilities include:

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of machines and equipment
• Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems
• Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical tasks
• Participation in installations, modifications, and improvements
• Reading blueprints and working from technical documentation

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a technical interest and experience in mechanical work, preferably from industry or working with various types of machines.

You may have worked with equipment such as lifts, forklifts, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, or other similar technology involving mechanics, hydraulics, or electricity.

As a person, you are solution-oriented, meticulous, and take responsibility for your work. You enjoy working both independently and collaboratively with others.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

• Technical or mechanical education, or equivalent experience
• Experience in mechanical work within industry or a similar field
• Knowledge of mechanics, and preferably hydraulics and pneumatics
• The ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documentation
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

It is a merit if you have:

• Experience in electrical work or automation
• Previous work in manufacturing or process industry
• Experience working with heavy machinery or mobile units
