As a workplace safety coordinator at Boliden Zinkgruvan, you play a key role in ensuring a safe and secure work environment by supporting the organization, coordinating safety efforts, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. The role includes providing support to projects and employees, participating in the organization's safety work, and actively working on safety issues to contribute to a sustainable and secure operation.

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Coordinate and develop workplace safety efforts
  • Expert function and support in workplace safety for employees and contractors
  • Legislation and compliance: Ensure that the operation follows applicable laws and regulations regarding workplace safety.
  • Sustainability: Work towards a sustainable work environment characterized by safety and well-being.
  • Risk management: Contribute to systematic work to prevent accidents and ensure that both safety and productivity are maintained.

You will also be responsible for improving and maintaining the company's orientation program, as well as updating safety standards and instructions.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with education and preferably a few years of experience in the field of workplace safety. Your attitude and commitment to the work are of utmost importance. As a person, you are a skilled communicator, driven, resilient, determined, and trustworthy.

Since the company operates in an international environment, you speak and write both Swedish and English.
