Are you ready to step into the industry and work with assembly and welding in some of Sweden's most energy-intensive operations? Professionals Nord collaborates with Örebro Gasteknik to provide you with a safe and structured start in the role of a welding assembler.

Through an introductory program that combines guidance, practical application, and gradual deepening, you will have the opportunity to build the right skills for the role. After the introductory period, you will begin your assignment at Örebro Gasteknik – in an industry where the demand for skills is high and long-term.

Professionals Nord is conducting this initiative in collaboration with Örebro Gasteknik to meet the industry's need for new welding assemblers.

You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at Örebro Gasteknik for at least 18 months. Provided that the collaboration works well, the goal is for the employment to subsequently transition to Örebro Gasteknik.

The introductory period is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills required to feel confident in the role of a welding assembler. The program consists of guided moments, practical application, and self-deepening.

During the period, you will be introduced to:

• Welding technology and industrial assembly
• Assembly of pipelines and work according to drawings
• Safety, quality, and working methods in an industrial environment
• Project-based work and collaboration with the customer

• Preparatory period: May 4 – May 29
• Introductory block 1: June 1 – July 3
• Deepening period: July 6 – July 24
• Practical days at the workplace: August 17–19
• Introductory block 2: July 27 – September 11

There is an opportunity for study support throughout the introductory period.

First working day at Örebro Gasteknik: September 14, 2026

Örebro Gasteknik works with assembly and service of gas technical systems within heavy industry throughout Sweden. The company collaborates with some of the country's largest players in steel, pulp and paper, as well as other energy-intensive industries.

The work is characterized by a high safety mindset, close collaboration with customers, and long-term relationships. The assignments are often carried out in project form at the customer's site.

As a welding assembler at Örebro Gasteknik, you will primarily work with the assembly and welding of pipelines and gas technical systems in an industrial environment. The work is often done together with a colleague and in close dialogue with the customer on-site.

Examples of tasks:

• Welding and assembly of pipelines
• Work according to drawings and technical documents
• Collaboration in project teams on-site
• Ensure quality, functionality, and safety in execution

Travel is included in the position and usually occurs from Monday to Thursday, with a 40-hour workweek. You will preferably be based in Örebro County.
In the long run, there is an opportunity to develop into a more responsible role in the projects, for example as a lead assembler.

• Is at least 18 years old
• Has a high school diploma
• Has a strong interest and motivation to work in the industry
• Holds a B driver's license
• Masters Swedish in speech and writing
• Has passed tests
• Has a passed background check
• Enjoys traveling for work
