About the position

JOSAM is a world-leading brand that is now part of the American Snap-on group. In Örebro, there are about 25 colleagues in various roles within product development, sales, orders, training, workshop, service, and support. Here, you will come to a familiar workplace with high technical knowledge and low employee turnover. The workshop in Örebro specializes in alignment, repairs, and wheel adjustments of heavy vehicles and is fully equipped to handle a wide variety of vehicles, machines, and constructions.

In this role, you will participate in a comprehensive introduction program where you will have the opportunity to learn from your experienced colleagues. Initially, you will work alongside an experienced colleague to gain a good understanding of the products and operations. Over time, you will take on more responsibility and work independently. Since both the working methods and equipment are specifically adapted to Josam's operations, much of your skills development will take place on-site.

Job responsibilities

As a workshop technician, you will work with alignment, repair, wheel measurement, and wheel adjustment of heavy vehicles such as trucks, buses, trailers, and construction machinery. Josam always strives to repair components instead of replacing them, provided that it is profitable and high quality is achieved. This is primarily done through the use of heat, and the methods for alignment and repair are constantly evolving to meet new needs and technological advances. In this role, you will also work on adjusting and optimizing wheel angles that affect driving performance and tire and fuel economy.
