We are now seeking nursing assistants for the home care area in Husby. With us, you will work closely with the users, focusing on a person-centered and rehabilitative approach.

Our workplace is located in Husby, near the residential area of Skogstorp and the countryside of Hållsta/Näshulta. In our new and modern premises, we collaborate closely with Mesta home care. This means we have several team leaders on site and close contact with other staff through Mesta home care. Your base will be in Husby. Occasionally, you may need to assist in the other home care areas of Mesta and Hällby when there is a need.

We are also proud of our close collaboration with nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. Most of the work is done by car, which means you have reflection time between users. You will be part of an engaged team with high competence. We have fun together and focus on making a difference for our elderly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant, you will work with personal care and support users in their daily lives. You will perform delegated health and medical tasks, such as medication management, wound care, and tube feeding. You will also be the primary care contact for a number of users, where you are responsible for establishing and following implementation plans. Documentation is done in our operational system VIVA, and you will collaborate with relatives, nurses, and physiotherapists.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and is passionate about making a difference. You are flexible, have a good demeanor, and can make independent decisions when necessary. At the same time, it is important that you enjoy collaborating and contributing to a good atmosphere in the workgroup. It is an advantage if you have experience working in care and support, preferably in home care. You can work days, evenings, and every other weekend on a schedule, are willing to accept delegation, and have the ability to use digital tools for documentation. Previous delegation experience is a plus. A B driver's license is required, and you need to be accustomed to driving in the dark and in rural areas.
