We are recruiting for a well-established industrial company in Västerås with modern production and a strong focus on quality in cutting and steel manufacturing. The recruitment is confidential, and more information will be provided later in the process.

About the Position

We are looking for an operator in CNC-controlled gas and plasma cutting for production. The role is central to the production start and involves responsibility for cutting material according to drawings, instructions, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operator work in CNC-controlled gas/plasma cutting
• Reading drawings and measuring
• Control of cutting edges, dimensions, and materials
• Receiving and labeling materials
• Preventive maintenance according to plan
• Report deviations and safety issues
• Inventory and other workshop tasks as needed

You have the ability to stop production in case of quality or safety deviations.

We are looking for someone who

Has experience from workshops, CNC, or cutting machining. You could be a gas/plasma cutter or a senior CNC operator with a short ramp-up time.

We would like you to have:

• Experience with CNC-controlled machines
• Reading drawings and measuring techniques
• Experience in cutting, sheet metal, steel, or workshop
• Forklift and/or overhead crane license (preferable)
• Driver's license B
• Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
• Experience with Monitor or similar systems is a plus

As a person, you are meticulous, responsible, and enjoy working in production.
