Operator – Gas/Plasma Cutting
We are now looking for a meticulous and responsible operator for our gas/plasma cutting in Västerås.
You are the spider in the web of our production start, and the role has a central function in production.
Main responsibilities:
- Perform the operator role as a gas/plasma cutter
- Maintain production within the production group.
- Gather missing information to complete the work.
- Goods reception and incoming control
- Archiving of material certificates
- Correctly label goods after the operation is completed.
- Continuously check the quality of cuts and dimensions.
- Implement FU according to plan and regulations
- Point out deficiencies in instructions and manufacturing documentation.
- Report safety deficiencies to management/safety representative.
- Report when deviations are detected.
- Actively contribute suggestions and solutions to simplify production
- Transfer information during shift changes.
- Inventory of sheet metal and bars
As a person, you are driven, independent, and can work in a team. To achieve results, you also need to be structured and enjoy a varied work environment.
The following experience is required:
- Experience in workshop gas/plasma cutting
- Good knowledge of reading and understanding drawings.
- Good understanding of machine control, dimensional control, material handling, and materials science.
- Experience with Monitor (G5)
- You have a good command of Swedish in both speech and writing.
- You have a B driver's license.
- Have forklift and/or overhead crane certification
