The Role of the Nursing Assistant

As a nursing assistant, you will be responsible, together with the nurse, for ensuring that the patient receives good care during their stay with us. The care is provided based on the individual needs of the patient, and it is important that dialogue and interaction with the patient always occurs in a professional and respectful manner, where patient safety is our highest priority. The work includes basic patient care both on the ward and in the cardiac intensive care unit, including NEWS checks, sampling, participating in care rounds, and documentation.

Your Future Workplace

Medicine E is the largest unit of the medical clinic with a ward, cardiac intensive care, and a coronary unit. Adjacent to it are our pacemaker unit, heart clinic, and AK clinic. We work to investigate and treat various heart diseases such as myocardial infarction, heart failure, and arrhythmias. We also care for patients before and after various types of heart surgeries. In the ward, we have 16 beds distributed over two care teams.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and has several years of experience in the profession. We would like you to have a strong interest in cardiac care and previous experience working in a ward, and enjoy developing and learning new things. As a person, you are confident in your professional role and are flexible. You take responsibility for your tasks, initiate actions, and easily adapt to changing circumstances. We highly value good collaboration skills and engagement in work, which contributes to a good working environment in our workplace. We place importance on personal suitability.
