Technical Manager at Region Gotland

The Management Unit

Within the property management department, there are several different professions, which makes our workdays both varied and developing.

We work closely together and with the operations of Region Gotland to ensure reliable, modern, and sustainable technical solutions in our properties.

You will belong to a unit where collaboration, knowledge exchange, and development are the focus both technically and personally.

Your Responsibilities

As a technical manager, you will have a varied job that combines technology, IT, management, and administration. You will be responsible for both long-term planning and daily issues related to Region Gotland's technical security and communication systems. The work is varied and developing, and you will be part of a team where collaboration and knowledge exchange are central.

Your tasks include, among others:

  • Management, operation, and further development of call signal systems within Region Gotland's properties.
  • Management of access control systems and intrusion alarms related to access control systems, including operational adaptations and technical development.
  • Ensuring that assigned systems meet requirements for functionality, reliability, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Performing in-depth troubleshooting in technical systems, including troubleshooting related to networks and server environments, and acting as IT-related technical support.
  • In dialogue with operations, plan and implement system adaptations and contribute to the improvement and development of existing solutions.
  • Drive and participate in projects related to system development, such as the introduction of new features or integrations.
  • Collaboration with internal operations, suppliers, and external parties to ensure effective, secure, and sustainable solutions.
  • Participation in procurements through the development of specifications, technical evaluations, and follow-up of framework agreements.

Who Are You?

You have relevant technical education in areas such as electrical engineering, telecommunications, security systems, IT, or other education and experience that the employer deems equivalent. A B driver's license is required for the position.

We see that you have:

  • Education or experience with BEST call signal systems.
  • Education and/or experience with ASSA ARX, including functions related to alarms in ARX.
  • Education and/or experience with RCO, such as access control systems and alarm functions.
  • Education or experience with property management systems.
  • Experience working with integrated security systems.
  • Good knowledge of networks, IP-based systems, and server environments.
  • Experience in advanced troubleshooting in complex technical environments.
  • Experience working in municipal or public operations.
  • Familiarity with participating in procurements, including requirement specifications and technical evaluations.
