LKAB Berg & Betong is a leading group with full-service solutions for the mining and construction industry. We perform rock reinforcement and tunneling in our mines, as well as process waste rock into gravel and crushed stone.

Your role

As a machine manager, you will have the operational and strategic responsibility for our rigs. You will be a key person in ensuring high operational readiness and effective maintenance processes. Together with the repair team, suppliers, and production, you will create conditions for a safe and production-reliable fleet of machines.

An important part of the role is to be present in the operations and have a close dialogue with our miners. You will create an understanding of the machines' maintenance needs and ensure that routines for order & cleanliness, cleaning, and daily care are in place. A consistent and structured approach to machine care is crucial for maintaining operational readiness and a stable production flow.

Your responsibilities include:

• Planning and prioritizing repairs and maintenance of rigs
• Managing technical deviations and making quick, production-critical decisions
• Responsible for spare parts inventory, orders, and supplier contacts
• Collaborating with miners, mechanics, and production leaders for a quick return to production
• Monitoring operational readiness, costs, and spare parts lifespan, as well as handling invoicing

You bring with you

You are a responsible and structured person who thrives close to operations. Solution-oriented and can quickly prioritize in production-critical situations and handle technical deviations with good judgment. You work with order and cleanliness, are engaged, and take responsibility for ensuring that the rigs are maintained correctly and on time. Clear, attentive, and confident in dialogue with both internal and external parties.

You also have:

• Driver's license for manual transmission
• High school diploma
• Computer skills
• Experience with workshop or maintenance systems
• Industry knowledge of heavy machinery or heavy industry

Meritorious:

• Hydraulic competence
• Knowledge of underground machines in tunneling and/or construction machinery
