We are now seeking a qualified electrician with a valid ECY certificate who wants to take a central role in our service team and ensure that our charging facilities operate safely, securely, and efficiently.

About the role

As a Service Technician with us, you are a key person in ensuring that our electric vehicle charging facilities in Malmö and surrounding areas meet all requirements for:

• Electrical safety
• Functionality
• Documentation
• Quality according to current regulations

You will work practically on-site with customers, providing service, troubleshooting, and repairing charging boxes and charging infrastructure. Since the work takes place in electrical installations, it is crucial that you are a qualified electrician with an ECY certificate and have a full understanding of electrical safety requirements and industry standards.

In addition to practical electrical work, you will work with IoT components, networks, software, and administrative systems.

Job responsibilities

Your role includes:

• Performing service and troubleshooting on electric vehicle charging facilities at customer sites
• Addressing faults in both hardware and software
• Performing component replacements (e.g., SIM cards, IoT packages, internal components in charging boxes)
• Replacing charging boxes and implementing technical upgrades
• Participating in new installations of charging stations when needed
• Working in various digital systems and portals (both internal and external providers)
• Documenting and reporting all work according to the company's self-control program
• Ensuring that all work is performed according to applicable electrical safety requirements, regulations, and internal procedures

You will be responsible for your cases from start to finish – both technically and administratively.

🔌 Qualifications – Mandatory requirements

To be considered for the role, you must have:

• ✅ Be a qualified electrician
• ✅ Hold a valid ECY certificate
• ✅ A valid driver's license (B)

This is an absolute requirement as the work takes place in electrical installations and is subject to electrical safety legislation.

Desirable and advantageous

We would also like you to have:

• At least 2 years of experience working with electric vehicle charging
• Experience in service and troubleshooting
• Good technical understanding of networks, communication, and IoT solutions
• Familiarity with working in digital systems and portals
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your assignments
• Willingness to stay overnight when projects are located far from home
