One of our product areas is lubrication systems, and we are now looking for a new colleague to strengthen our service to customers in northern Sweden.

Service Technician

Do you want to combine technical expertise with making a real difference for the environment? As a service technician at SKF, you will not only install and maintain advanced lubrication systems – you will also be an important part of our work for a more sustainable industry.

In the role of service technician, you will be part of our team that works to deliver and install innovative lubrication systems for our customers. In addition to your colleagues in service, the internal network also includes application engineers, salespeople, customer service, and production.

The position will be focused on the central part of Sweden (Värmland, Dalarna, Gävleborg County). However, other travel around the country may occur. You will work from home with your own service vehicle.

Your daily work

The work will be focused on the industry where we serve customers in segments such as paper mills, steel, mining, energy, and manufacturing. The position includes:

• Planning and execution of service and installation work.
• Installation of lubrication systems and delivery of lubrication projects.
• Preventive maintenance with service, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Delivery and management of projects on-site at the customer.
• Additionally, developing business opportunities and long-term relationship building with our customers.
• Reporting/documentation of assignments.

Skills you need

Requirements

• Experience working as a service/installation technician.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written).
• Good knowledge of English.
• Ability to travel around the country.
• Driving license B.
• Ability to lead and plan.

Desirable Competencies

• Experience in lubrication, lubrication systems, and hydraulics.
• Experience working in heavy industry.
• Experience in welding.
• Experience in pipe bending.
• Experience in project management within delivery.
• Experience in sales.
• Good computer skills.
