Job Description

We are now looking for a track designer with experience in track technology for several of our offices across Sweden, who wants to work on varied and developing assignments.

We are looking for someone who enjoys the role of designer and is motivated to develop well-thought-out technical solutions together with colleagues. You have likely worked for a few years in track design and want to continue developing in the technical field, in close collaboration with other disciplines and project teams.

AFRY's railway organization is national, with offices from north to south. Through close collaboration between sections, offices, and technical areas, we create strong teams and comprehensive solutions. Therefore, we can also offer flexible placement based on your needs. We work with everything from early stages and investigations to designing railway plans, system and construction documents, as well as management data, reviews, and inspections. Our assignments are often complex and carried out in interdisciplinary teams together with AFRY's other experts.

You will preferably be based in one of our offices in Västerås, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Sundsvall, or Luleå.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with approximately 3-5 years of experience in track technology design.

We prefer that you have a bachelor's or master's degree, or have acquired equivalent knowledge through work experience. You have a genuine interest in railways and technology, and it is advantageous if you have insight into the contracting or production phase.

As a person, you are a team player who enjoys collaboration and knowledge sharing. You have a good understanding of technical issues and actively contribute to projects. You work in a structured manner, are meticulous in your work, and thrive in a dynamic environment where conditions can change.
