About the Role

In the role of welder at Vaggeryds Maskin, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of tasks within manual welding. You will use MIG/MAG techniques and handle materials of different thicknesses, from 1 mm to 50 mm, including pipes, sheets, aluminum, and stainless steel. Since we work with smaller series, you will experience a dynamic work environment where no day is the same. You will have the chance to contribute your expertise and creativity, which is crucial for achieving our common goals.

Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for this position, it is important that you have the following qualifications:

• Welding education and preferably a couple of years of experience as a welder or equivalent experience.
• Industrial education is an advantage.
• Experience in workshop work, including drilling, grinding, measuring, and cutting is desirable.
• Forklift and overhead crane licenses as well as the ability to read blueprints are a plus.

Personal qualities that are appreciated include the ability to work independently, being handy and engaged, as well as being able to communicate in Swedish.

Responsibilities

As a welder with us, your tasks will include the following:

• Manual welding of various materials and constructions.
• Working with MIG/MAG.
• Grinding and polishing welded details.
• Participating in various projects and adapting your work to specific customer needs.

You will be an important part of production and contribute to ensuring high quality in our work. We value initiative and would like you to take responsibility for your tasks.
