Your Contribution as a Customer Representative at Johannedals Recycling Center and Kretsloppsparken Recycling Center

The tasks at the recycling center include being available to customers during opening hours and overseeing the facility. The work is mobile as you actively need to be present throughout the facility to provide service to customers and help them sort correctly.

Tasks included in the role:

• Instruct visitors to ensure hazardous waste and recyclable materials are sorted correctly
• Keep the entire area clean and tidy, including the outside
• Daily report the number of visiting vehicles
• Report for material pickup
• Sort out any incorrectly sorted material from the containers
• Receive and sort hazardous waste
• Supervise and maintain the facility and its equipment
• Sort containers
• Compress material in containers

The schedule consists of two alternating weeks. During the first week, you work morning shifts from Monday to Thursday, 07:00 to 15:00, and are off from Friday to Sunday. During the second week, you work evening shifts from Monday to Thursday, 14:00 to 21:00, are off on Friday, and work weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday, 08:00 to 16:00. Start from June 1 to August 31.

Your Competence and Experience

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in the environment and a B driver's license. For the work at Johannedals Recycling Center, experience in goods handling with a wheel loader is required. Previous experience in the waste industry is an advantage. It is also advantageous if you have ADR 1.3 training.

As a person, you are used to working independently but also have good collaboration skills. It is important that you can easily communicate with both customers and colleagues. You are responsible, proactive, organized, and your working method is characterized by accuracy and high service. You are engaged and happily represent the municipality positively.
