We create workplaces where people thrive, companies grow, and where sustainability is a given – socially, environmentally, and economically. Our employees are the heart of what we do – and crucial for our customers to feel safe, seen – and for their workplaces to flourish.
For our operations serving customers in Sundsvall and Härnösand, we are looking for a service-oriented and committed Operations Manager who wants to develop people and customer operations. We offer you a challenging role in a company and industry that is constantly evolving!
About the Role
As Operations Manager, you will have financial responsibility and personnel responsibility for the operational area. Our delivery includes a wide range of ISS service offerings such as cleaning, reception, and maintenance.
In the role of Operations Manager, you will also be responsible for local customer relationships and ensuring that work is conducted in accordance with applicable customer agreements. In collaboration with the customer, you strive for continuous improvements and development of ISS delivery. Here, you have great opportunities to elevate the delivery from being good to becoming one of ISS's best sites!
We Offer
You will work closely with competent colleagues from whom you will gain significant benefits, as we care about helping and developing each other. Our focus is on taking care of and developing our employees, as we believe that “People make places.” ISS offers, among other things, training and development opportunities – all to engage you and help you grow with ISS in the long term.
We highly value diversity and inclusion. At ISS, all people are equally valuable and have the same rights and opportunities. Our employees reflect the diversity of society, which is both a competitive advantage and an asset in our long-term sustainable work. Our inclusive corporate culture strengthens our employees, makes us more creative and productive, and creates a more attractive workplace.
ISS's values, which are fundamental to how we work, are quality, responsibility, honesty, entrepreneurship, and community. Therefore, it is important that you feel that you stand for a working method and an approach that is in accordance with these values.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a driven and communicative leader with the ability to motivate your surroundings to deliver results that exceed set goals. To succeed in this role, you need to have the will and ability to create new business opportunities. You are self-driven and motivated to continuously develop and structure existing operations, while valuing effective processes, high quality, and customer satisfaction. Above all, you also share our passion for delivering service to ISS customers!
As the job involves many personal contacts both within and outside the organization, good collaboration skills and an interest in people are required. You also have a good ability to build trust and develop long-term relationships.
You have a high school education and experience in leadership, finance, personnel, and customer relations. You preferably have experience from a labor-intensive service industry and communicate very well in Swedish both verbally and in writing, as well as speaking English well. You also have good knowledge of Microsoft Office and other commonly used IT environments. A driver's license is a requirement for the position.
