About the Position

Do you have experience in warehousing and forklift driving? Are you self-driven, proactive, and ready to take on a role where you can both develop and contribute to improvements? Then this might be the job for you! We are currently looking for a material handler for a production unit in Halmstad. You will work with everything from inventory management to transportation and customer deliveries. The job also includes some administrative tasks, so it’s good if you are computer literate. In this recruitment process, a background check in the criminal record will be conducted before potential employment, in accordance with the client's requirements.

Your Main Responsibilities

As a material handler with our client, you will have a varied workday with several exciting and responsible tasks. Your main responsibilities include: • Goods reception: Receive incoming goods and ensure they are handled correctly. • Inventory management: Store and organize materials according to current procedures. • Order picking: Pick materials from inventory and ensure they are ready for further processing or delivery. • Transport preparations: Prepare materials for transport and deliveries. • Inventory: Keep track of stock levels by inventorying stored materials. • Continuous improvements: Actively contribute to streamlining and improving the company’s routines.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working physically. You are self-driven, resilient under stress, and have a positive attitude towards problem-solving. To succeed in this role, it’s also important that you have a genuine desire to deliver quality and contribute to the team’s success. Requirements: • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. • Possession of a forklift license (A1-A4 and B1-B4) and experience driving reach trucks, counterbalance forklifts, and pallet stackers. • Good physical ability. • A technical interest. Meritorious Experience: • Previous experience in forklift driving. • Experience in warehousing. • Driver’s license and access to a car. • Other warehouse or industrial experience.
