The technical unit is responsible for the municipality's streets, parks, properties, cleaning, and other areas within the technical field. The operation consists of property caretakers, park workers, cleaners, operations technicians, project managers, technical managers, and administrators. Surahammar Municipality is a Finnish administrative area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of a work team responsible for the maintenance of the municipality's sports facilities and other properties. The main tasks are maintenance and upkeep of properties as well as sports halls/ice rinks/swimming pools.

As a property caretaker, you will work in our digital property system Vitec, where you will manage rounds, scheduled inspections, and incoming error reports. Scheduled working hours are day/evening.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is easy to work with in a team and has good social skills. A property caretaker education is an advantage. Experience from working in sports facilities is a merit. It is important that you are a versatile person who can communicate with people of all ages and has a high degree of flexibility and service orientation. We also expect you to be able to work independently and in a well-structured manner. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Before you can be employed, you need to present a valid extract from the police's suspicion register and the criminal record, which must not be older than 6 months.

In connection with the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or a certificate of citizenship along with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only take place after verification of the work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance.
