The Ängen department at Strandbo is looking for care staff for 2 positions at 75%. Preferably a nursing assistant or caregiver with extensive experience. The schedule includes day, evening, and weekend shifts. The department is large, so you should enjoy being active during your workday.

Job Responsibilities

As a care staff member, you will perform care and service tasks according to the Social Services Act. Responsibilities also include performing health and medical care tasks delegated by a nurse and rehabilitation staff according to the Health and Medical Care Act. You work daily to provide good care and service with great consideration for the individual needs of the users in their homes. You will use a person-centered and rehabilitative approach with the individual's self-determination in focus. You will work in a team with various professional roles to provide the user with the best possible support based on their needs and circumstances. Documentation is an important task, and you are responsible for documenting events concerning the user in social documentation according to applicable legislation. This means you must express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and have computer skills.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is primarily a trained nursing assistant, but caregivers may also be considered for the position. We prefer candidates with previous experience in elderly care. We need someone who is attentive to our users' needs and has the ability to place the user's needs at the center. We want you to have good computer skills, and it is an advantage if you have worked with the operational systems we use, such as Life Care and Löneportalen. As a person, we see that you have a respectful attitude and are easy to collaborate with, both with colleagues and our users, relatives, and partners. The work is often independent, so it is important that you can take your own initiatives and focus on opportunities and solutions. You are calm and secure and can plan the activities of the work shift and quickly adapt and change interventions based on changing circumstances. You are responsible and can work independently as well as in a group. The work requires flexibility. We want you to contribute to our operations being conducted and developed in the best way.
