About the workplace

Home Care North 1 is located along Landborgen in Villa Havea on Tågaborg. We work with clients living in the areas of Stattena, Tågaborg, Domsten, Laröd, and Hittarp.

Job responsibilities

As a care assistant with us, you work to enable individuals to live as independently as possible. You start from the unit's premises and move between different clients following a work card. Our working method is characterized by a salutogenic approach, which means providing personal support based on individual needs and conditions in the clients' homes.

As a care assistant, you primarily work independently and provide care in the form of personal care, support during meals, social interaction, and more. You also perform tasks delegated by a nurse, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist, such as training interventions, medication handover, and wound dressing. You work in teams with various professionals.

In your work, you use various digital tools, and your work phone is an important work tool, where you can find work cards and routines. We work with fixed care contacts, and documentation is also part of your tasks.

Qualifications

To proceed in the recruitment process, you need to be a trained care assistant and have basic computer skills and documentation experience. You should be comfortable working with various digital tools and have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. The job requires you to move between clients by car or bicycle, so it is important that you can cycle and have a B driver's license. In this role, you need to be prepared and willing to accept the delegations required in the job.

It is an advantage if you have experience working in home care and also with Phoniro and LifeCare.

Working hours: In home care in the City of Helsingborg, you work on a schedule where working hours are allocated either during the day or evening, with working hours from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM or 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM. The schedule you receive may change if the needs of the operation change.
