About the Department

The Staffing Service recruits and is responsible for all hourly staff within Sahlgrenska University Hospital (SU).

Our mission is to staff the care departments with engaged and competent personnel during acute short-term absences. As a temporary employee in the Staffing Service, you have the opportunity to work across several departments within our operations at Sahlgrenska Hospital, Östra Hospital, Mölndal Hospital, Högsbo Hospital, and Rågården.

We are now looking for more healthcare assistants for hourly employment in the Staffing Service!

What do we offer?

• Introduction tailored to your previous experience and skills.
• You will start with an introduction in one department but will have the opportunity to work across several somatic departments in the long term. Placement will be based on where the need is greatest in the operation and your previous experience.
• Using the booking system TimeCare Pool, you will be scheduled for shifts based on your own availability, allowing you to control when you can work. We offer hourly employment where employees need to be able to work at least four shifts per month.

Job Responsibilities

As a healthcare assistant, you will work with personal care and rehabilitation efforts in close patient work, which includes taking samples, monitoring, and reporting.

The Staffing Service's mission is to cover for acute short-term absences throughout Sahlgrenska University Hospital.

About You

• You are a trained healthcare assistant.
• You have at least one year of experience working in a hospital.
• You have experience with monitoring such as sampling, pulse, and blood pressure.

As a person, you are service-oriented and flexible. You have a genuine interest in people and a strong commitment to your work. Since you will have the opportunity to work across several operational areas, you need to be a good team player with an open-minded attitude towards new environments and workgroups.

We place great importance on personal suitability! Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period.

In connection with the recruitment, we will order extracts from the suspicion and criminal records.

To qualify for the position, you must attach:

• Proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title Healthcare Assistant.
