We are looking for a nursing assistant for part-time night shifts at Vardaga Breared. We offer training and several benefits.

About Breared

The nursing home is located in Breared, a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Varberg, near Apelviken. Vardaga has been operating Breared under contract for Varberg Municipality since 2008, with 92 places, focusing on dementia and somatic care. Follow us on Instagram @vardagavarberg

• We are a dementia-certified nursing home, which means that everyone who works here is trained in dementia and care through Vardaga's Dementia Academy.

• We apply a needs-based wish schedule. This means that you, as an employee, have the opportunity to influence your own working hours based on needs and preferences. We schedule for 10 weeks at a time.

• You have a team leader who spends most of their time working closely with you in the operations. Becoming a team leader can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant.

Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their way of life and habits. You see each person and interpret what they need. At the same time, you learn a lot about care, aging, and how to meet people.

You are closest to the resident and thus have a key role in the team with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. You also participate in care planning and write social documentation.

Your experience and knowledge

We prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant and have worked for a few years in elderly care. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also advantageous. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you share our values and have the right qualities, we will support you and provide opportunities for growth.
