The Role

As a nursing assistant at Rungården, you play a crucial role in supporting our users in their daily lives.

You create a safe and pleasant environment where each individual receives the care they need, which includes everything from personal care to social support.

Examples of responsibilities as a nursing assistant:

• Provide personal care and service tailored to each user's needs
• Document according to the Social Services Act, administer medication, and perform rehabilitation efforts as delegated
• Work closely with other staff members to ensure high-quality care
• Participate in planning and implementing activities that promote social community and health
• Be an extended arm and engaged contact person for users

Parts of your working hours are not fixed in a basic schedule. Therefore, it is important that you take responsibility for completing your entire working hours. The time that is not scheduled in the unit's basic schedule will be allocated according to your own preferences where needs arise.

The operation consists of 33 apartments distributed across three departments focused on care and one department focused on cognitive impairment. We want everyone living with us to have a meaningful and safe everyday life. Activities are a natural part of our operations.

Is this you?

• You have a nursing assistant education with a professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or you can prove permanent employment as a nursing assistant according to current directives from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• You have experience working in elderly care with a focus on care, dementia, mental health, and previous experience working with the BPSD registry
• You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and good computer skills to be able to do some documentation in our IT systems
• You are service-oriented, have a strong user focus, and work person-centered
• You are a responsive, communicative, and cooperative person
• You provide a friendly reception and support users in their wishes and needs
• You work in a structured manner, take initiative, and can prioritize your work in stressful situations
