Tänndalen Ski Resort is now looking for Snowcat Operators for the 2026/2027 season

As a snowcat operator, you will be part of our snowcat team, which is responsible for grooming our ski system. You will work on grooming slopes, building parks, and performing some maintenance on the machines. Since grooming takes place when the resort is closed, working hours will vary between 16:00 and 09:00, every day of the week. In Tänndalen, we receive a lot of praise for our beautiful slopes, and you will be a key player in creating a truly excellent alpine product for our guests.

We are looking for someone with documented experience operating larger machines and at least a B driver's license. At the start of employment, you should have a valid snowmobile driving license. Previous experience as a snowcat operator is highly meritorious. You likely have skied or snowboarded a lot and understand what our guests value on the slopes.

As a person, you are responsible, unpretentious, and used to collaborating with others. You thrive and have the ability to work independently while also understanding the bigger picture and being receptive to feedback.

Every winter, four to five meters of natural snow falls over the ski area, which stretches through the entire valley from Hamra in the west to Svansjön in the east. The alpine ski system in Tänndalen offers a total of 54 varied runs, both above and below the tree line. Always soft, rolling, and well-groomed. In Tänndalen, there is ski rental and a sports shop, three children's areas, two snow parks, and eight restaurants/cafés. All restaurants share a high quality and inspiration from mountain culinary traditions.

Tänndalen's beautiful mountain environment offers endless opportunities for cross-country skiing, both on the mountain plateau and in the valley. There are 300 kilometers of prepared cross-country trails, providing unbeatable variation. You can choose routes based on the weather and select between valley or mountain. There is plenty of hilly terrain with long, challenging uphill climbs for the fitness enthusiast and calm tours in the mountains for the leisure seeker.
