Care Assistant to Midskogen Care and Support Home

The facility is located at Gymnasievägen 6-8 in Luleå and consists of nine departments. Six of these offer regular care and support places, while three are specialized departments focusing on short-term care, younger people with dementia, and severe BPSD issues. Right now, we have five vacant positions placed in our regular care and support departments. Four of the positions involve varying working hours and are suitable for those who enjoy shift work, with shifts distributed over days, evenings, and weekends according to a schedule. One of the positions is for night work. In your application, you can specify which department you would prefer to work in.

Job Responsibilities

The work as a care assistant with us is varied, and you work to ensure that users can live as dignified and independent a life as possible despite any disabilities and/or illnesses. You work in teams with various professional roles to provide the best possible support to users based on their needs, resources, and possibilities according to PPP (Practical Professional Planning). Performing the work with quality is important to us and is something we actively work on. With the user in focus and with the support of our common values, you work to develop well-planned and flexible solutions tailored to individual needs. You will thus work with personal care, mobilization and transfer, social support, and medication management. Documentation is an important part of the work, and you are responsible for documenting in Combine according to the Social Services Act.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to people who enjoys working closely and making a difference for others. Furthermore, you should have: • Approved grades in Swedish, at least equivalent to grade 9. • Good digital competence and can handle phones, apps, computers, and programs without problems, as well as the ability to quickly learn new digital systems and tools as needed.

It is an advantage if you are a trained care assistant and/or have experience in similar work, as well as experience with documentation. As a person, you are structured, collaborative, and confident.
