JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you want to work in our fantastic team at a workplace in Östra Göinge Municipality where employees report that they enjoy their work and experience a good working environment? At Lindgården, we work with clear goal management and a high level of participation. According to our latest HME measurement (Sustainable Employee Engagement), the result is an impressive 98 (out of 100), and we are now expanding our team with two specialist nursing assistants focused on dementia.

We are looking for someone who wants to work with us to provide our clients with a good and tailored everyday life where each client's needs are our top priority. Part of your role will involve daily work in one of the departments, while another part will consist of working across our dementia departments to educate and empower staff and provide our clients with the best possible experience based on each individual's needs. You will also work closely with our activity planner to create suitable activities for individuals with cognitive impairments.

We at Lindgården are a wonderful team consisting of nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, unit managers, nursing assistants, dietitians, and dementia nurses. We work in teams around the client to achieve a good overall perspective, which means that in the role of specialist nursing assistant, you will build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

We require that you have a vocational degree from the upper secondary school care and nursing program or approved grades from adult education courses in care and nursing (1500 points). You have further education in dementia and a genuine interest in working with people with dementia/cognitive impairments.

Additionally, you have a good attitude towards residents, relatives, and your colleagues, a great deal of patience, drive, and commitment, as well as a heart in the right place. You convey security and see each individual client in all encounters.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, has a good ability to work both independently and in a team, and who feels secure in their role as a specialist nursing assistant.

You are an experienced computer user, accustomed to documenting, and handle the language well in both speech and writing. Furthermore, you understand the importance of following the routines and working methods in place at the workplace.

You can, with the help of ergonomic aids, perform the tasks included in the assignment such as lifting, personal care, and transfers.

Due to new legislation regarding background checks for individuals who come into contact with the elderly in their work, you will need to present a criminal record check before employment.
