I am an active, independent, and social woman with CP disability, 59 years old, living in my own apartment in Majorna.

I need help from personal assistance in my daily life with everything from toilet visits, personal hygiene to other tasks such as transfers with a mobile lift, help with putting on and taking off hearing aids, cleaning, laundry, cooking, etc.

My assistants do not have any medical responsibility; I tell them which medications I need and when I want to, e.g., boil water for my sleep respirator.

With me, assistants do not follow any checklist of what needs to be done; I am the one who tells what I need assistance with. My days vary regarding the times I want to eat, help with dressing, etc.

As an assistant, you will accompany me and provide assistance during club activities, meetings with friends and family, outings, shopping in stores, etc.

Since I have difficulty with mobility in my arms and hands, you as an assistant need to help me write text messages often, both private messages and texts for association newsletters, etc. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that you have a good command of Swedish and can express yourself clearly, considering that I have a hearing impairment.

The job as a personal assistant with me may mean that you sometimes meet me at other locations and end your shift at places other than my apartment. When I use transportation services, I need to have a personal assistant with me, so if you are to meet me at another location and have your car for work with me, you will need to park your car at my place first.

I need summer substitutes from June/July to August. In June, I do not need many substitutes, but primarily in July and August. The substitute shifts are not full-time but sporadic. The shifts are scheduled at three times during the day: morning 08:00-15:00, afternoon and evening 15:00-21:00, and night 21:00-08:00. During night shifts, I have active time from 21:00-02:30, followed by waiting time from 02:30-07:00.
