We are now looking for an Energy Engineer to join the Technical Group at the Local Supply Unit. The Local Supply Unit consists of seven regional sections, with associated groups distributed across management and projects. A total of about 120 employees work within the unit. You will belong to the Technical Group at the Local Supply Unit.

The place of employment is either Stockholm, Gothenburg, or Malmö.

Job Description

As an Energy Engineer, you will support management and projects in connection with larger renovations and new constructions and will be a key person for energy issues.

Some of your main tasks will include:

• Ensuring that existing premises and technical facilities are functional and energy-efficient together with management
• Participating in internal working groups and monitoring energy issues
• Representing the Swedish Police Authority in collaborations with other authorities
• Keeping up with technological developments and external requirements
• Being responsible for the Swedish Police Authority's annual energy statistics to the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency
• Supporting management and projects in connection with various environmental classification systems for buildings
• Conducting overview estimates in connection with the choice of different energy systems

Travel is included in the position.

Qualifications

• Relevant education in the field of energy with a focus on properties, construction, and/or local supply, or equivalent experience that the Swedish Police Authority deems equivalent for the position
• Several years of recent professional experience in energy issues regarding usage, management, and projects
• Recent experience collaborating with landlords and/or contractors
• Good computer skills within the Office package
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing

The position requires Swedish citizenship.

It is advantageous if you also have recently:

• Knowledge of energy systems and building physics, and how these affect economy, sustainability, and climate
• Experience and knowledge of various contracting forms and procurement of contracts
• Experience in calculating energy costs
• Practical and theoretical knowledge of control and regulation systems
• Knowledge of life cycle analyses
