We are a small home care service where you will have a significant role. We prioritize your well-being, knowing that our clients feel good when you feel good.

Working with Us:

Home Care Your Life is located in Njurunda and is run by me, Emelie Söderström. We have backgrounds in home care and emergency care, and here we do everything we missed as employees.

Here you will experience a fantastic community between staff and clients, and to break the routine, we often come up with activities and new ways to provide our care.

When you work with us, you become part of shaping the business. Today we are 17 people + some substitutes who together find the best possible working methods, create activities, attend training, and discuss our work environment and conditions.

We have a creative view of care, always based on the client. When you work with us, we trust you. We follow rules and decisions, knowing that good care does not fit with overly strict routines. It must be based on the client. Therefore, we give you great freedom; you are the expert.

Qualifications:

You who are applying are educated in care or have another education that the employer considers equivalent. You can also be a student. We prefer that you have experience in caring for people. You should easily adapt to different people and circumstances with a good attitude. A driver's license for a manual car is a requirement to work with us as driving is part of the job.

Job Responsibilities:

You will provide care and service of good quality to those you visit based on a professional approach. The work includes performing delegated tasks according to HSL and documentation according to applicable guidelines. Work from a rehabilitative perspective to give the client the conditions to improve or maintain their abilities. Provide security, treat everyone with respect. The tasks include everything in the client's daily life that they need support and help with.

We Offer

Good Scheduling:

Continuity is very important, so you primarily work with those you are a contact person for. We do not control your schedule in detail. As long as all services are provided within the same week, you and the client decide how to organize the work. Maybe you can do the laundry on Tuesday so you have time to go for coffee on Wednesday?

Do you need to leave early to take the kids to the dentist or make it to that haircut appointment you've been looking forward to? That can usually be arranged too. You clock in and out and manage how you organize your time, as long as you take responsibility for your client's well-being and ensure everything gets done.

Training:

Every spring, we undergo CPR training and training in lifting and transfer techniques. In addition, we have ongoing training in topics such as dementia, nutrition, threats & violence, palliative care, etc. Wish for what you want, and we will make decisions together!

Either we conduct training for everyone, or if you have something specific you want to learn? We want you to be curious and strive to learn new things, and we are happy to help. Right now, we are undergoing star rating in dementia.

New Technology

Whether you work in the office or out in care, you will work with the latest technology. Through the personnel system on your mobile, you can swap shifts, apply for leave, see your schedule, and who you are working with.

While you work, you have support from a client system that gives you background on the client, what has been done, and what needs to be done. You also use a lock app instead of keys to enter and exit clients' homes.

Benefits and Activities:

In our beautiful premises, you have access to various drinks, snacks, and fruit. We also organize fun activities together, such as after works, dinners together either out or in the premises.

We provide work clothes. You work scheduled hours during the day, evening, and weekend. Salary according to agreement/individual salary.
