We are looking for a dedicated and competent licensed physician for our neurological rehabilitation clinic in Stora Sköndal. We offer a stimulating job with diverse tasks in a multidisciplinary team.

Our patients come for active neurological rehabilitation after usually a short hospital stay in an acute care hospital for various neurological diseases, including stroke or traumatic brain injuries, as well as aftercare for patients who have undergone, for example, brain tumor surgery.

You will work under the guidance of an experienced senior physician with specialist competence in rehabilitation or neurology.

Responsibilities:

• Department work including admission and discharge of patients in need of active neurological rehabilitation after care in an acute hospital.
• Collaboration with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and other professionals in the team to ensure the best possible rehabilitation efforts.
• Participate in rounds with an experienced senior physician.

The position is a six-month full-time temporary position and involves work during office hours, Monday to Friday, with no on-call duties. Start in March or by agreement.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed physician, preferably with an interest or experience in neurology or rehabilitation.
• Has experience with the medical record system Take Care.
• Has good knowledge of the Swedish language; knowledge of other languages is also welcome.
• Is a good communicator and has an easy time collaborating in a team.
• Is responsible and has a patient-focused approach.
