Description

The Recycling Business Area consists of about 50 dedicated employees who work together with collection, recycling centers, and the Djupdalen waste facility.

Every year, we handle around 80,000 tons of waste - always with sustainability, quality, and community benefit in focus. Our work directly contributes to a cleaner environment and a more sustainable future.

Job Responsibilities

As a Waste Collector with us, you will have a varied and active job where you make a difference for our customers and the environment every day. You will work in a team where collaboration and responsibility are important, while the role also involves personal responsibility and independent work in the field. Your focus will be to serve our customers on-site - directly in their daily lives.

The work mainly takes place outdoors and involves driving our service vehicle as well as practical work with containers and waste. You will plan and carry out large parts of your workday on your own, where you independently drive between different assignments and are responsible for ensuring that the work is carried out efficiently and professionally. You will help ensure that customers' waste management runs smoothly and that they receive the service they need.

The work is also digital, where you use a tablet/handheld computer in our operational system Fetchplanner to receive assignments, plan your workday, document completed work, and report deviations.

Your responsibilities include:

• Setting out waste containers for new customers
• Collecting containers when subscriptions are terminated
• Repairing broken containers reported by customers or our customer service
• Setting out home sorting solutions for both single-family homes and multi-family houses
• Being responsible for latrine collection during the summer season
• Delivering food waste bags to customers who have ordered via customer service.
• Managing and documenting assignments digitally via tablet/handheld computer in Fetchplanner

The employment starts in April so that you receive proper training and can assist in the work with our large exhibition of waste containers. During the summer, you will cover for regular staff during their vacation period.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is responsible, service-oriented, and enjoys an active and independent job. You like working outdoors and have a good ability to plan and structure your workday on your own.

You have a high school education and a B driver's license, and you feel comfortable driving a car as part of your daily work. The role requires you to be self-sufficient, take responsibility for your tasks, and make independent decisions in the field. At the same time, you have good collaboration skills and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Since the work is partly digital, you need to have good computer skills and feel comfortable using a tablet or handheld computer in your daily work.

We see that you have a natural sense of service and a professional demeanor in your interactions with our customers. You are flexible, solution-oriented, and can handle changes in your workday in a structured manner. You need to be able to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

It is an advantage if you have experience in service work, customer communication, or similar roles where customer contact was a natural part of the job.
