About the Position
Do you want an important role in ensuring food safety at the world's largest crispbread factory? As a hygiene operator at Barilla, you will be responsible for cleaning production lines and surrounding areas to guarantee the highest hygiene standards in food production. The work is physically demanding, can be performed in warm environments, and may involve uncomfortable working positions. You will work independently towards clear deadlines and take responsibility for ensuring that production can start and function as it should.
At Barilla, safety, hygiene, and quality are always the top priority. In this role, you are expected to work responsibly and follow applicable safety, hygiene, and quality procedures at every step. It is crucial that you take personal responsibility for both your own safety, your colleagues' safety, and for ensuring that the food produced meets the highest quality standards.
The summer assignment is a consultancy position via Adecco. Interviews are tentatively scheduled to start in week 15, and training will take place on-site at Barilla starting approximately in week 20. The training period lasts about two weeks and is conducted in smaller groups on an ongoing basis. The assignment period is tentatively expected to last until week 33 and may be extended based on business needs.
Examples of Job Responsibilities:
- Cleaning production lines
- Cleaning production areas and machine environments
- Ensuring hygiene according to food safety requirements and procedures
Working Hours
Monday - Friday from 05:54 AM to 02:48 PM
About You
You enjoy taking on significant responsibility, working independently, and having a clear structure in your work. You are meticulous, attentive to instructions, and have good physical fitness as the work is active and at times heavy. You need to be able to communicate and understand instructions in Swedish fluently.
Requirements for the Position:
- At least 18 years old
- Swedish language skills (reading comprehension + communication)
- Good understanding of English
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in the food industry
- Familiarity with physical work from previous roles
