With us, care and community meet in two cozy houses - one somatic residence and one dementia residence - connected by our fantastic meeting point.

Joy is created in everyday life through daily activities such as music sessions, bingo, and other forms of entertainment. With good transport links, it is easy to get here, both for residents and visitors.

Every weekday, something fun happens in the shared activity room, the Meeting Point, such as quizzes, music performances, and mingling sessions. We have a garden with seating and a small stage where entertainment is provided during the summer. We offer you a meaningful assignment at Altplatsen care and nursing home. Here you will work in a team together with the manager, licensed staff, and nursing assistants to ensure that residents receive the best possible care and support.

The assignment includes:

As a specialist nursing assistant with us, you will have the opportunity to utilize your specialist competence to create value for our residents. Your assignment will be guided by the needs of the organization and aims at quality-enhancing measures and improvement work.

In addition to the regular nursing assistant duties, your role as a specialist nursing assistant includes mentoring and guiding your colleagues in care situations, interactions, and approaches based on person-centered care and support. We would like you to have experience working with quality registers and social documentation.

Together with care supervisors, you will also act as support to the unit manager in daily mentoring and organizational development and be involved in the introduction of new employees.

Your working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• You are a trained nursing assistant and can show the Socialstyrelsen certificate for protected professional title.
• You are a trained specialist nursing assistant with a higher vocational education of at least 200 YH points in geriatrics, palliative care, specialist care, dementia, emergency care, or another focus that the employer deems appropriate.
• You should be well acquainted with the requirements of daily work in a care and nursing home and have experience working in care and support.
• Since communication and documentation are important parts of the job, you must have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• You have experience with social documentation and work with quality registers.

Meritorious

• It is meritorious if you have previous experience mentoring individuals and groups.

We are looking for someone who is pedagogical and has the ability to explain problems and information to different recipients and from different perspectives. You encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement. You adapt your communication to the recipient and the situation.

You can bring enthusiasm and energy through convincing arguments that encourage good performance, team spirit, and increased motivation.
