Operations Technician to Såtenäs
The Fortifications Agency is looking for an operations technician for Såtenäs. Are you seeking a new challenge that involves working with the operation and maintenance of a unique property portfolio? Where will you work and what will you do?
We are now looking for an operations technician for the West region and Såtenäs. In the operations unit, we are a great team consisting of 13 operations technicians and an operations manager who handle the operations and large parts of the maintenance at Såtenäs. We have support and help from several colleagues who also work from Såtenäs, including our property manager, property engineers, contract administrators, management assistants, energy managers, and property technicians.
In the role of operations technician, your tasks will include supervision and maintenance as well as parts of the corrective maintenance within the garrison at Såtenäs, which constitutes the main part of the work. The work is partly performed as solo work and therefore requires a structured, responsible, and self-driven approach as well as the ability to manage daily customer contacts. The tasks include supervision and maintenance as well as corrective maintenance of the property portfolio.
The work mainly concerns technical installations in buildings and facilities such as evaporation systems and the maintenance of oil separators as well as infrastructure in the area. In the position, you will also have daily contact with customers and subcontractors, which requires a professional demeanor and you should enjoy maintaining a high level of service.
Travel outside the work area may occur, mainly in connection with training and meetings. On-call duty may be included in the position.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a high school or YH education focused on operations technology, HVAC/VA, industrial or process technology, or control and regulation technology. Alternatively, you have other education that we consider equivalent. We want you to have experience in one of the following areas: operations technology, HVAC/VA, or process and control technology. You thrive in a varied everyday life with a lot of customer contact and responsibility. You have good administrative skills and a good computer proficiency to follow up and document your work in various data systems. A B driver's license and Swedish citizenship are required.
If you have experience in supervision and maintenance of oil separators and treatment plants, such as evaporation plants, it is an advantage.

About the employment
The position is a permanent employment and may begin with a probationary period. As a permanent employee, you will be placed in a war position. The place of employment is Såtenäs. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and entails placement in a security class. A security review with a background check will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
