Project Manager in District Heating at Hässleholm Miljö

Your role and responsibilities

As a project manager with us, you will have a varied role with both independent work and close collaboration with the operations and maintenance organization.

You will be part of the Facility unit and report to the unit manager.

The position is partly a pension overlap for our current process engineer, but also aims to meet the business needs with a broader competence. Therefore, the role includes tasks within both environmental and process technology as well as project work related to district heating production. Initially, a large part of the work may involve administrative tasks related to ongoing and previous projects.

In the role of project manager, you will be responsible for:

• Driving projects and development work within production, fuel, combustion, residual products, as well as water and flue gas purification.
• Participating in process monitoring, process optimization, and technical development at our facilities.
• Leading or participating in projects, investigations, and investments within environmental and process technology.
• Assisting the environmental engineer with documentation for environmental and regulatory reporting and acting as backup when needed.
• Being responsible for and working in our chemical management system.

You will collaborate closely with our current project manager, environmental engineer, process engineer, production engineer, as well as operations and maintenance staff.

The work is both administrative and technical, with the opportunity to influence and participate in projects involving multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Who you are

You have a strong commitment to facility development as well as environmental and sustainability issues. You hold an engineering degree in environmental technology, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience in energy or process technology. Alternatively, you have other experience deemed equivalent. You also have good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Since the position involves contact with both internal and external stakeholders, we expect you to have excellent collaboration and communication skills, as well as being able to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and verbally in English.

A driver's license (B) is required as some driving may occur.

It is advantageous if you:

• Have experience from district heating production or process industry
• Have worked with emission measurement systems
• Have experience with chemical management systems

As a person, you are structured and enjoy independent administrative work, while easily collaborating with colleagues, contractors, and consultants. You are open to new ideas, work solution-oriented, and contribute to continuous improvement by leveraging others' experiences and knowledge.

Conditions and application

The position is a permanent employment (100%), full-time weekdays, with a six-month probationary period.
