About the Position

Do you want to be an important part of the flow behind Sweden's favorite snacks? As a forklift driver at Orkla Snacks, OLW, you will work in the shipping department where you are responsible for ensuring that loading, unloading, and internal transport are carried out safely, efficiently, and on time. You will primarily drive a counterbalance forklift, but handling handheld devices and system support is also an important part of the job.

At OLW, safety, hygiene, and quality are always the top priority. In this role, you are expected to work responsibly and follow applicable safety, hygiene, and quality routines in every task. It is crucial that you take personal responsibility for both your own safety and your colleagues' safety, as well as ensuring that the food produced meets the highest quality standards.

The summer assignment is a consultancy position via Adecco, with group interviews starting in mid-February. The assignment period spans approximately eight weeks during the summer (tentatively weeks 26–33). You will receive on-site training at OLW during the spring, so you need to be available then. The assignment may be extended based on the needs of the business.

• Forklift driving with counterbalance forklift
• Loading and unloading goods
• Warehouse management and material handling
• Use of handheld devices and system support
• Follow safety routines and quality-assured working methods

Working Hours

The position is full-time and operates in morning and afternoon shifts, meaning work at varying times during all weekdays (Mon-Fri):

Morning:

• Monday - Thursday 06:00 - 14:30
• Friday 06:00 - 12:30

Afternoon:

• Monday - Thursday 14:24 - 22:54
• Friday 12:24 - 18:54

Note: You cannot choose your shifts yourself, as you will be assigned based on the needs of the business. The role therefore requires good flexibility and the ability to commute to and from work regardless of the time of day.

About You

We are looking for someone who is reliable, responsible, and meticulous, and who understands the importance of working in a structured manner in a food production environment. For you, order and cleanliness are a given, and you always work with safety, quality, and food safety in focus – both for your own safety, your colleagues' safety, and to ensure that production runs smoothly without deviations.

You take great responsibility for following safety regulations, routines, and work instructions, especially when driving forklifts and handling materials. You have a risk-aware working style and understand that improper handling, carelessness, or shortcuts can have serious consequences in a food production environment. Therefore, you work consistently, attentively, and with high precision in every task.

At the same time, you are a team player who enjoys collaborating with other functions in production. You contribute to a positive work environment, show engagement, and are eager to take responsibility for identifying improvement opportunities that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency in daily work.

Requirements for the Position:

• At least 18 years old
• Swedish spoken and written (reading comprehension + communication)
• Good understanding of English
• Forklift license B1
• Experience in forklift driving and warehouse work

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in fast-paced and logistical environments
• Experience in the food industry
• Good computer skills + experience with handheld devices
