JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At Marieberg care unit, we work purposefully to enhance the quality of our services and create a sustainable work environment. We are currently participating in a development project with service assistants aimed at freeing up time for care-related work. We are also facing a larger competence development initiative through the Professional Journey, which offers great opportunities for professional growth for you as an employee.

As a nursing assistant with us, you will play a central role in the daily lives of individuals and their relatives. We work based on person-centered care and an activating approach, with the goal of preserving and strengthening the individual's own resources. By working from a professional care perspective and a rehabilitative approach, you contribute to creating a meaningful, safe, and manageable daily life for the individual.

In the role of nursing assistant, your responsibilities include:

  • Person-centered care and support in the individual's daily living
  • Support with personal care and transfers
  • Guidance and activation in everyday tasks and social activities
  • Medication management according to delegation
  • Social documentation according to applicable guidelines
  • Responsibilities within the unit's quality and development work

At the care unit, we systematically work with an activating approach to strengthen and preserve the individual's functions. Our common goal is to create a lively nursing home where both residents and employees thrive, feel safe, and experience meaning in their daily lives.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires a nursing assistant education. We are looking for a cheerful, secure, and stable team member who wants to be part of our team at Marieberg. You should be able to collaborate with others, be solution-focused, and have a strong commitment to the elderly with varying needs. You should be structured and goal-oriented, capable of planning, organizing, and completing your work independently.

You should have good knowledge of, and understanding of, the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Some administrative tasks such as documentation and computer use are part of the job.

Before an employment offer, a valid extract from the police criminal record must be presented.
