DFDS Logistics Contracts is now looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented logistics employee for our terminal in Arendal. The position involves varied tasks within warehousing and logistics where you will have the opportunity to develop in several areas alongside skilled colleagues. The role is partially administrative and requires customer contact and experience with SAP, as well as a good understanding of WMS. We offer a dynamic work environment with varied tasks where you may work across multiple departments.

Examples of tasks:

• Loading and unloading trailers

• Storing goods in high storage

• Moving goods between warehouse locations

• Order picking

Other tasks:

• Building partial pallets with goods on full pallets

• Cleaning inside/outside

• Assisting with administration of incoming and outgoing goods

• Reporting to customers via email and phone

• Acting as backup for administrators

About you:

We prefer that you are an experienced forklift driver with experience in both reach trucks and counterbalance forklifts, as well as administrative tasks. You have previously worked with SAP and have good knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management System). You speak and write fluently in both Swedish and English. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and see that you are a team player who is not afraid of quick decisions and changes. You thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Working hours depending on department:

07:00-16:00

08:00-17:00

Overtime may occur.

Requirements for the position

• Forklift license A+B

• Experience with reach trucks and counterbalance forklifts

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Good knowledge of warehouse systems

You are employed by us at DFDS Professionals but work out at our clients. Being a mobile consultant means that you are employed by us at DFDS Professionals to perform work at client companies where your workplace, working hours, and tasks may vary within an agreed service area. Selection is ongoing and placement may occur before the application deadline.
