About the company: The company operates within vehicle logistics and is responsible for planning and executing transports. This recruitment targets the team in Gothenburg, which together handles approximately 135 trucks and ensures that transports are carried out according to customer requirements.

About the role: As a Transport Supervisor, you are responsible for the planning, follow-up, and optimization of daily vehicle transports. The work involves balancing resources, schedules, and customer requirements, much like putting together a large puzzle!

Your main tasks will include:

• Monitoring ongoing transports, ensuring trucks and drivers are in the right place, and handling deviations ranging from minor disruptions to more complex situations.
• Planning upcoming runs based on routes, vehicle types, driver schedules, as well as requirements from load centers, ports, and receivers.
• Optimizing flows through load consolidation and re-planning, and ensuring deliveries within agreed time windows.
• Communicating with drivers, internal colleagues, customer service, and transport company management.
• Documenting and analyzing deviations as part of quality and improvement work.

Are you the one we are looking for? We are looking for a Transport Supervisor who is curious, analytical, and solution-oriented. You thrive in planning, creating structure, and handling multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a holistic perspective. The role requires good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues, drivers, and customer service.

Requirements:

• Passed background check.
• Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing.

Interest in cars or the automotive industry is a plus (but not a requirement).

Practical information and application:

• Location: Gothenburg
• Start date: As agreed
• Salary: Individual salary setting, hourly-based monthly salary. Collective agreement applies.
• Employment: Consultancy assignment for six months with the possibility of extension.
• Working hours: Monday-Friday 07:30-16:00. The role includes on-call duties in the evenings (17:00-21:00) and on weekends (09:00-21:00) according to a rotating schedule, which requires flexibility. More information during the interview.
