About the position
Professionals Nord is looking for a team leader in warehouse and logistics on behalf of our client. Our client is a Swedish industrial company with extensive experience in developing and manufacturing advanced wire drawing machines.
 

The assignment is part of our staffing services. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant with our client for six months. The intention is that you will eventually be able to be directly employed by them, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

About the role
As a team leader in warehouse and logistics, you are responsible for the daily operational work in the warehouse. You work practically with the team while distributing, prioritizing, and following up on the day's tasks to ensure efficient material flows. The role requires you to have a good understanding of logistics processes and the ability to make quick decisions in everyday situations.

You handle incoming and outgoing goods, internal transports, and material picking, as well as contribute to order and structure in the warehouse and workshop area. The work involves close collaboration with production and other departments, where both computers and forklifts are important tools. As a team leader, you also participate in team leader group meetings and contribute to the development of routines and working methods.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in logistics, warehousing, or material supply
• The ability to take responsibility and drive daily operations forward
• Good computer skills
• Proficiency in Swedish and English
• A valid driver's license and access to a car

Meritorious:

• Experience from working in mechanical industry
• Knowledge of reading technical drawings and good material knowledge
• Forklift license, overhead crane, and wheel loader license
• Experience in leading or coordinating work
