Karlstad Stadsmission is a non-profit organization driven by ideals, not belonging to the public or private sector. We are part of civil society and our mission is to conduct professional social work in Karlstad and its surroundings.

The organization was founded in 1960 and has its roots in the Seamen's Church. The cornerstones of our operations are serving breakfast and lunch, offering various social activities, and caring for our visitors.

Operations Manager

Karlstad Stadsmission is now looking for an Operations Manager. A fantastic role for you with a big heart, care for people, their well-being and development, as well as a strong commercial drive.

About the role

As Operations Manager, you report to the board. You have full personnel responsibility for permanent staff and are involved in leading the Stadsmission's volunteers. As Operations Manager, you are responsible for the organization's budget and you plan and implement the annual cycle. The role also includes commercial responsibility, which involves seeking and obtaining the grants and funds that the organization has the potential to receive, as well as building relationships with the public and private sectors. You are also responsible for reporting statistics and figures to the board and control bodies.

Who are you

To succeed in this role, you are a person who sees opportunities in people and organizations. You have a big heart and care for people, and you possess a strong commercial drive. You are a clear and communicative leader with several years of experience in leadership. We also see that you have been involved in driving an organization with clear growth goals. As a person, you are social and enjoy being out meeting people, and you are skilled at building relationships with individuals and companies. You are structured and accustomed to working with numbers and reports.
