About the role

As a Diagnostic Technician with us, you will have a developing role where your technical knowledge is at the center. In close collaboration with knowledgeable colleagues, you will work with diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of passenger cars according to the high standards of authorized workshops. You will work with the latest technology and always have access to leading diagnostic tools as well as relevant training.

Responsibilities – Focus on diagnosis and troubleshooting of passenger cars

• Perform diagnosis and advanced troubleshooting on passenger cars and commercial vehicles
• Resolve technical faults, both electrical, electronic, and mechanical
• Perform service and repairs according to manufacturer guidelines
• Use diagnostic equipment and update software
• Document actions in the workshop's data system
• Contribute to the work environment and technical development within the team
• Ensure quality and safety in every work step

Requirements

• Automotive education at the high school level or equivalent competence
• Practical experience in troubleshooting and repairing modern passenger cars
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, electronics, and diagnostic systems in vehicles
• Driving license B (manual transmission)
• Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for tasks

Desirable – not required

• Experience from an authorized workshop or specialist role in automotive technology
• Competence in electrified vehicles and modern vehicle diagnostics with systems such as BOSCH, Autocom, Oscilloscope, or equivalent.
• Certifications and further training in vehicle diagnostics
