Environmental Engineer at Bodens Energi

Bodens Energi is an energy group where district heating, electricity trading, electricity production, and administration are conducted under the parent company Bodens Energi AB. The wholly-owned subsidiary Bodens Energi Nät AB is responsible for the electricity network's 17,000 customers as well as certain contracting activities in the municipality. Responsibilities

As an environmental engineer, you will be an important part of the fuel department where you will:

• Classify waste fuels and by-products
• Ensure that incoming materials meet environmental requirements and quality standards
• Participate in the development of sustainable fuel strategies
• Monitor and analyze environmental values and sampling from production, as well as identify, highlight, and propose improvements both from fuels and production equipment.
• Act as a contact person for suppliers and internal functions
• Contribute to projects in environmental technology and energy efficiency
• Be responsible for selecting the right fuels for the facility based on quality and environmental requirements

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in environmental science, chemistry, or energy technology, or equivalent work experience assessed as comparable
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both written and spoken
• A valid driver's license (B)

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience from the waste or energy sector and have experience working with environmental legislation.
• Experience in environmental classification, waste management, or fuel analysis
