Facility and Property Manager

As a Facility and Property Manager, you will be part of the production management responsible for the local operation and maintenance of facilities and properties on behalf of the management team.

The local production management is led by the operations manager for the facility. Facility and property maintenance is supervised by the facility manager, while the care of horses and stables is overseen by the stable manager. The production management also includes a veterinarian and a responsible employee for bookings, conferences, and accommodation.

The production management is expected to deliver both real and perceived quality (satisfied students, employees, customers).

Tasks within facility and property maintenance are varied, but important parts include:

- Addressing, following up, and providing feedback on deviation reports to relevant individuals.

- Ensuring that the facility maintains the highest possible quality regarding order and cleanliness.

- Maintenance of RS riding arenas to ensure they meet the highest possible standards.

- Green area maintenance according to the established maintenance plan.

- Working with energy-saving measures and follow-ups in connection with property maintenance.

- Machine operator responsible for feed and bedding management.

- Vehicle responsibility with all associated tasks. Maintenance and care responsibility.

- Participating and assisting at events/competitions and providing facility conditions for each activity.

- Keeping relevant individuals informed about significant events within your area of responsibility.

Competence Requirements

- A B driver's license is a basic requirement. A machine operator certificate can be added.

- Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital tools.

- Basic plumbing knowledge: Knowledge of heating, water, and sanitation systems to perform maintenance and minor repairs.

- Electrical knowledge: Basic electrical skills, such as changing light tubes, fuses, and simple troubleshooting (Property service, electrical work).

- Ventilation and operational status: Understanding of ventilation systems (fans, filter changes) and often knowledge of substations (district heating).

- Property technology: Basic handling of control systems and alarms. - External maintenance: Familiarity with machinery for lawn mowing, hedge trimming, and snow removal. - Corrective maintenance: Ability to identify and address issues in the property, such as locks, doors, and windows.
