Security Guard at Avarn Security in Oxelösund

As a security guard at Avarn Security, you will have an exciting everyday life where your task is to enhance our customers' safety and promote a safer environment.

A patrolling security guard works with preventive security. You will be mobile or patrol on foot, visiting customers in your district/area to check that alarms are activated, windows and doors are closed and locked, electrical equipment is turned off, and that no unauthorized persons are present on the premises/area. Patrolling security is performed both indoors and outdoors, mostly at night but also at other times of the day.

In stationary security, you work at the customer's location, which may involve staffing a reception.

We are looking for security-conscious, social, empathetic, and positive individuals with inner security and a natural drive to help. Security guards work in many different environments with very varied tasks - we are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and has a clear service-oriented commitment. We also prefer that you can communicate fluently in English.

Qualifications

In addition to the personal qualities we seek and describe, you need to meet basic requirements to qualify for the position. You must be of legal age when you start working, have a high school diploma, good Swedish in speech and writing, and hold a B driver's license.

You must also be unpunished*, drug-free, have a stable economy, and good health and fitness to be employed at Avarn Security.

Security guard training is an advantage for these positions. Other advantageous qualifications include experience in the security industry, certain technical skills, additional language skills beyond Swedish and English, and previous experience working in public environments.

Tests will be applied in the recruitment process.
