JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a park worker, you will, together with other employees in the street/park department, work with various tasks in public green environments, on schoolyards, parks, and urban-adjacent forests.

Your tasks will include, for example, decoration in the municipality, weeding, hedge trimming, lawn mowing, watering, planting, cleaning, pruning/cutting work, and snow and ice control during winter.

On-call duty may occur.

The work will be based at Gata/Park, Östergatan 8, Klippan, but may be assigned to Ljungbyhed, Östra Ljungby, and Stidsvig as well.

QUALIFICATIONS

We want you to have vocational training in parks and gardens or another education that the employer deems equivalent, or you have experience in professional work within gardening/parks.

A valid B driver's license for manual transmission is a requirement for employment.

You must also be proficient in the Swedish language in both speech and writing, as well as have some computer skills since we are an employer that works daily with Office365, Teams, etc.

It is advantageous if you have experience operating and handling various machines and hand tools.

It is also advantageous if you have training certificates for:

• Work on the road
• Valid chainsaw certificate A B
• Valid brush cutter certificate RA
• B96, BE driver's license

As a person, you need to have social competence and the ability to work both independently and in a team. You easily adapt to changing circumstances and have a solution-oriented approach to work. It is important that you can prioritize between tasks while being able to work in a structured manner.

You have a humble attitude towards your assignment, as it involves meeting people who are both citizens and colleagues. Being brave, daring to support colleagues and employers, and having the ability to create community and foster a good collaborative climate, even when the job can sometimes be both stressful and challenging, is something we expect you to handle as a matter of course.
