Group Manager for Traffic Management

We are now looking for a group manager for our traffic management - the hub of Gamla Uppsala Buss's operations. The traffic management coordinates the daily operations for about 500 drivers and 200 buses and connects different departments to minimize disruptions in Uppsala's city traffic, every day of the year. In the role of group manager, you will lead and develop an engaged team in a dynamic environment!

About the position

The role involves a present leadership for 16 traffic managers where you have responsibility for work environment, personnel, and planning. Reporting is done to the unit manager within the Traffic department.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead and coach your team
• Follow up and develop working methods
• Ensure quality and develop traffic management work based on the organization's goals and ownership requirements
• Build relationships and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders related to our operations

Qualifications

• Experience in leadership as a manager or team leader
• Work experience in the transport industry
• Good system proficiency

Meritorious:

• Experience in traffic management
• Knowledge of industry-specific systems within traffic management and personnel planning

The position is located in Uppsala. You will primarily work office hours with some flexibility for evenings and weekends.
