Vehicle Driver at Community Development

Do you want a job where you get to drive various vehicles and ensure that things work in everyday life? As a vehicle driver with us, you will experience variety, responsibility, and the entire municipality as your workplace. One day it might be about snow removal or sanding, the next about transportation or other practical tasks. The job suits you if you enjoy taking initiative where needed and contributing in multiple areas.

YOUR ROLE

With us, you will drive various vehicles, such as wheel loaders, truck-mounted cranes, and other heavy vehicles. The tasks vary with the seasons and can include everything from transportation and snow removal to sanding and operational tasks. You will perform basic service and maintenance on the vehicles and assist in other parts of the operation when needed, both with practical and logistical tasks.

YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes responsibility, and finds solutions when needed. You are self-driven but also collaborate well with others.

The following is required for the role:

• CE driving license
• Professional competence certificate (YKB). If you have completed the basic training for YKB but need to renew it, and are willing to cover the cost of further training yourself, you may also be considered for the role.
• Digital driver's card

It is an advantage if you have experience or training in areas such as truck-mounted crane operation, wheel loader construction, work zone safety, or ADR. Such skills can contribute to greater variation in tasks and provide extra flexibility for the operation.

You are accustomed to using digital systems for time reporting and planning of drives. If you also understand how the work impacts finances and budgets, that is a plus. The job involves both driving and meetings with people, so you need to be able to express yourself clearly in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

YOUR NEW WORKPLACE

Transport and service are part of Community Development. We are responsible for transportation, workshops, and central storage. With us, you will have a varied job, helpful colleagues, and a work environment where we ensure that the job works – while also caring for the balance between work and leisure. The working hours are primarily 07:00-16:00, with the possibility of flexibility. On-call duty may occur.
